I wanted to write to you before I head off tomorrow for a weeks camping while I wait on the Lord.
Some may have noticed that Jenspen has been rather quiet in recent weeks and there is a reason for this.
Basically I have had what I can only describe as a transformational experience from the Lord!
This came totally unexpectedly while reading a book recommended through an online Christian book club I am part of.
At first I couldn't get into the book and on this night I really only intended to read a bit before going to sleep.
Suddenly the Holy Spirit moved on me in a dramatic way as the words seemingly jumped off the pages and pierced my heart, mind and soul.
I got out of my bed and read from my chair till 4am the next morning, then after a few hours sleep, continued to read until I finished the book at 5pm the next afternoon. I could not stop writing notes and it was a time of many tears and drinking in His presence as He did a deep work in my heart.
In my 40 plus years since becoming a Christian I have never had such an experience as this!
I know my life will never be the same again after this, and right now I am in a place of returning and rest (Isaiah 30:15); and waiting on the Lord.
This is what I believe He wants me to be doing right now.
I cannot recommend this book enough to you. It is called "Living Fearless" by Jamie Winship.
